Changing Business Date

The Change Business Date option can be used in a non 24/7 store if the system is configured to prompt to enter the business date when opening the store. If you enter the business date, but you want to change it, prior to entering any opening counts, you can use that option to change the date.

The business date may be changed if a retailer may have incorrectly entered the business date during the store open process or in the event the retailer had to close and reopen the store in the middle of the day. The system automatically moves to the next date so the business date would not equal the system date.

To change the Business date:

  1. At the Till menu, select Change Business Date, or press the number associated with the menu option on the keyboard.

  2. Enter the date required.
