New Feature Descriptions

This section describes the new features.

BI Publisher

There is now a single BI Publisher instance across all Oracle Retail products.

Report URLs have been simplified and no longer need to go through the BI Publisher's Guest folder.

Initial Load from RMFCS

By taking advantage of shared Pluggable Database (PDB), the initial seeding of foundation data between Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (RMFCS) and SIOCS has been streamlined. A new UI has been added for the initial data load.

Pricing Imports from RMFCS

By taking advantage of shared PDB, the pricing information flows from RMFCS to SIOCS have been rationalized.

External Credentials Management

The Credential Administration screen has been added for users to provide user credentials for integrating with external/third-party systems. A user needs to be set up with the new Access Credential Administration permission in order to access this screen.

Batch Handling Charges

The Job Admin UI has been updated to provide users with the ability to retry a failed or stopped job.
