System Integration Overview

EICS has three basic integration points for RFID summarized below.

Retail Merchandising System: The Item Location integration has an optional RFID indicator. EICS consumes this information from the Merchandising System.

Xstore: Sales transactions that flow to EICS from POS can contain the EPC (Electronic Product Code) of each individual RFID tag.

Third Party RFID System: EICS can be integrated with an external RFID system via the RFID REST service.
