Integrations

The primary integration methods supported by products built on the Oracle Utilities Application Framework are (a) inbound and outbound files, and (b) inbound and outbound web services.

File Based Integrations

Files are uploaded to Object Storage or your local file system and processed via scheduled batch processes. Your specific product provides many out of the box upload processes. In addition, the system provides a plug-in driven upload process if you have specific upload requirements that are not met by base product processes. Refer to Uploading Records for more information.

File-based extracts can be generated and made available for download and further processing. Several out of the box extract processes are provided by your specific product. Implementation-specific file processing and generation logic can be introduced using the plug-in driven Extract Record Processing.

Web Services Integration is supported through Inbound Web Services and Outbound Messages. Refer to those respective chapters for more detail.
