Post-Event Push Alert v3
Post-event mobile push alerts notify enrolled customers about the outcome of a recent peak event and provide timely feedback on their participation. Delivered through the utility’s mobile application, these notifications are typically sent the day after a peak event, although timing may vary depending on operational requirements. By communicating directly through a customer’s mobile device, the utility can provide near real-time performance feedback that is more immediate and engaging than traditional printed communications.
The alerts inform customers whether they earned a rebate by reducing their energy use during the event period. Messaging is intentionally concise and easy to understand, reflecting the mobile format in which it is delivered. Content may vary slightly based on the customer’s program track and their level of performance during the event. As with all mobile application notifications, customers can choose to disable these alerts within the app settings. For multi-day events, notifications may summarize performance across all event days and present the total rebate earned.
The following is an example of a post-event push alert for a customer on the Self-Comparison Track who earned a peak day rebate:
“Congratulations! On the last 2 peak days on 12/14 and 12/15, you earned $5 for reducing your electricity use.”
