Workshop Details

This workshop provides example tutorials for monitoring Oracle WebLogic Server on Kubernetes cluster (OKE) using Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM). You will learn how to add Kubernetes load balancer services to OKE, configure security rules restricted for the EM monitoring, set up EM agent in the Oracle Cloud, remotely discover the WebLogic domain deployed on OKE, and monitor JMX based metrics and configurations from the WebLogic Server targets using EMCC console. You will further learn how target monitoring in EMCC continues even after the pods are regenerated, and how to manually set up JVM Diagnostics for the WebLogic Servers on Kubernetes.

Workshop prerequisites:

Free or Paid Oracle Cloud Account

Completion of the tutorials from the Oracle WebLogic Server Kubernetes Operator Tutorial on OCI workshop.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 13.5 or higher set up in the Oracle Cloud.
