Generate Attributed Cost and Usage Analysis Report for Pluggable Databases on Oracle Exadata Database Service
Introduction
We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of the attributed usage and cost feature for Pluggable Databases (PDBs) running on Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure and Oracle Exadata Database Service on Cloud@Customer. This feature is intended to provide the ability to view the attributed usage and costs for all PDBs in a Virtual Machine (VM) cluster.
Note: This feature allows you to query attributed PDB usage based on user-defined tags and identify costs per application and charge back these attributed costs to various line of business (Departments, Business units, and so on) for better reporting and accounting.
