createURL

public abstract java.net.URL createURL(DBObjectProvider pro,
                                       SystemObject obj)

Returns the URL for the given SystemObject that is from the given provider. Can return null if the provider or object are not supported by this helper.

Parameters:

pro - the containing DBObjectProvider

the - object, e.g. a tablespace, table, function, pacakge spec or package body

Returns:

a URL for the given object, if this helper recognizes the provider and object.

createProviderURL

public java.net.URL createProviderURL(DBObjectProvider pro)

Returns the URL for the given DBObjectProvider if the provider is supported by this helper. The default implementation calls {link #createProviderURL(DBObjectProviderID)} with an id for the given provider.

Parameters:

pro - the DBObjectProvider to get a URL for

Returns:

a URL for the given provider, if this helper recognizes it.

Returns the URL for the given DBObjectProvider if the provider is supported by this helper.
