getCellContent

Deprecated. use getCellIcon, getCellText to supply cell contents.

Previous method to get the content of the cell as an AttributedString. The AttributedString will contain the characters to display in the cell, and also TextAttributes to style them.

Clients should not us this method, but instead use getCellIcon/getCellText.

Returns:

a tuple that contains the icon and the AttributedString content for the given cell.

getCellIcon

Returns:

the icon for the given cell, or null for no icon.

getCellText

public java.text.AttributedString getCellText(javax.swing.JList list,
                                              T value,
                                              int index,
                                              boolean isSelected,
                                              boolean cellHasFocus)

Get the text content of the cell as an AttributedString. The AttributedString will contain the characters to display in the cell, and also TextAttributes to style them.

Returns:

the AttributedString content for the given cell.
