Create a Domain Partition Resource Group

Use this page to create a domain partition resource group.

NOTE: WebLogic Server Multitenant domain partitions, resource groups, resource group templates, and virtual targets are deprecated in WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4.0. The related Console and help pages will be removed in the next release.

Configuration Options

Name Description
Resource Group Name

The name of this resource group.

MBean Attribute:
ResourceGroupMBean.Resource Group Name

Changes take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.

Domain Partition Name

The user-specified name of this MBean instance.

This name is included as one of the key properties in the MBean's javax.management.ObjectName:

Name=user-specified-name

MBean Attribute:
PartitionMBean.Name

Changes take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.

Resource Group Template

The resource group template to reference for this resource group.

MBean Attribute:
ResourceGroupMBean.ResourceTemplate

Changes take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.

Use Default Target

Use the default targets of the partition for this resource group.

MBean Attribute:
ResourceGroupMBean.UseDefaultTarget

Targets

The targets for this resource group if you did not use the default targets.

MBean Attribute:
ResourceGroupMBean.Targets

Notes

Optional information that you can include to describe this configuration.

WebLogic Server saves this note in the domain's configuration file (config.xml) as XML PCDATA. All left angle brackets (<) are converted to the XML entity &lt;. Carriage returns/line feeds are preserved.

Note: If you create or edit a note from the Administration Console, the Administration Console does not preserve carriage returns/line feeds.
