In addition to bug fixes and editorial corrections, this revision of Administering Oracle Identity Governance contains the following changes:

• After applying Bundle Patch 12.2.1.3.210329, Oracle Identity Governance handles tasks without losing the assignments even though the target assignee of the task being initiated is already disabled or the current assignee of the pending tasks is being disabled. See Use Cases for Disabled or Deleted Proxy Users.

• After applying Oracle Identity Governance Bundle Patch 12.2.1.4.210107, a new system property XL.APHarvesting.AllowAccountDataUpdate is available that you can use to update the account data with the policy defaults for the accounts linked to the access policies. • You can move Oracle Identity Governance application and database binaries from a source host to a target host by running the chghost utility. See Migrating Application and Database Binaries.

New and Changed Features for 12c (12.2.1.3.0)

Oracle Identity Manager 12c (12.2.1.3.0) includes the following new and changed administrative features for this document.

• In Identity System Administration, the Import and Export options for incremental migration of deployments by using the Deployment Manager have a new interface and flow. See Migrating Incrementally Using the Deployment Manager.

• Oracle Identity Manager provides a new real-time certification purging solution. See Using the Real-Time Certification Purge in Oracle Identity Governance.

• The user interface for defining connectors and upgrading connectors have been enhanced. See Defining a Connector and Wizard Mode Upgrade in Staging Environment.

• The PL/SQL Unified Diagnostic Logging and Debugging framework captures diagnostic information from the PL/SQL layer for reconciliation and real-time data purge operations. See Using the PL/SQL Unified Diagnostic Logging and Debugging Framework.

Other Significant Changes in this Document for 12c (12.2.1.3.0)

For 12c (12.2.1.3.0), this guide has been updated in several ways. Following are the sections that have been added or changed.

• Information about installing and configuring the Remote Manager has not been included as Remote Manager is not supported in this release.

• You can register and use Ready App to allow applications that are not fully initialized at the time when WebLogic Server completes the application’s deployment to register their desire to participate in the readiness state of the server and tell the server when it is fully initialized. See Using Ready App.

• Added information about database best practices to be followed for the access request catalog. See Database Best Practices for Access Request Catalog.

• The steps in Configuring TDE for New Installation of Oracle Identity Governance have been enhanced to include support for Oracle Database 12c (12.1.0.2.0) Non-CDB and CDB along with Oracle Database 11g for wallet creation during Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) configuration for a new installation of Oracle Identity Manager.
