ODSM Rebranding

Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) is, now, re-branded as Oracle Unified Directory Services Manager (OUDSM).

Support for WLST Provisioning Commands

Oracle Unified Directory now supports WLST provisioning commands for configuring a WebLogic domain and for creating and deleting OUD instances.

You can execute the createOUDSMDomain command to create a compact domain for Oracle Unified Directory Services Manager. See Creating a Domain for OUDSM Using the WebLogic Scripting Tool.

You can execute the oud_createInstance command to create an OUD instance. See Setting Up the Directory Server Using the WebLogic Scripting Tool, Setting Up the Proxy Server Using the WebLogic Scripting Tool, and Setting Up the Replication Gateway Using the WebLogic Scripting Tool.

Support for Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard

Oracle Unified Directory now supports the Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard to create or extend a WebLogic domain with OUD system component on the admin system.

Support for Oracle Fusion Middleware Repository Creation Utility

Oracle Unified Directory now supports the Oracle Fusion Middleware Repository Creation Utility to create database schemas and load in your database.

Support for Oracle Fusion Middleware Reconfiguration Wizard

Oracle Unified Directory now supports the Oracle Fusion Middleware Reconfiguration Wizard to reconfigure a WebLogic Server domain.

Support for the upgrade-oud-instance Script

Oracle Unified Directory supports the upgrade-oud-instance script. The script updates the install path of each instance to point to the new Oracle 12c Home and also updates the Java properties for each instance.

Support for TNS Alias in EUS-enabled Configurations

Oracle Unified Directory now supports for enabling TNS aliases in Oracle Unified Directory deployments with Oracle Enterprise User Security (EUS) configured.
