For Oracle Service Bus 12c (12.2.1.x), this guide has been updated to include the following new and changed development features:

The Oracle JCA adapter can be configured to work in active-passive mode using the same configuration, resulting in only a single managed server being active at any point in time. If the active server fails, the service migrates to one of the other available servers in the cluster. See Configuring the Oracle JCA Adapter for Database to Poll from a Single Server.
