Exporting an Existing Release 12c MDS Repository to a JAR File

You can export a Release 12c MDS Repository to a JAR file that can then be imported into a Release 14c design-time. The adf-config.xml file is updated with /apps and store information.

How to Export an Existing Release 12c MDS Repository to a JAR File

To export an existing Release 12c MDS Repository to a JAR file:

  1. In the Applications window, right-click adf-config.xml of the project to export, and select Export SOA-MDS Contents. Figure 3-17 provides details.

    The Export to jar dialog is displayed.

  2. Select the Release 12c MDS Repository to export to a JAR file.
  3. To import the JAR file into a Release 14c design-time MDS Repository, see section Importing the Contents of the JAR File into the /apps Folder.
