Deprecated and Untested Devices
The following sections identify the deprecated and untested hardware devices as of this release:
Deprecated Devices
This section describes hardware devices (such as adapter and drivers) that have been
deprecated as of this release. Note that these deprecated devices continue to be
available for use through the entire lifecycle of Oracle Linux 8, but are unlikely to be
available for use in future major Oracle Linux releases.
Note:
In the following table, the PCI device IDs appear in the format of vendor:device:subvendor:subdevice. In cases when a device ID isn't listed, all devices associated with the corresponding driver have been deprecated. To identify hardware PCI IDs on the system, use thelspci -nn command

Untested Devices
This section describes hardware devices (such as adapter and drivers) that are available
for use but are no longer being tested or updated as of this release. Note that these
devices should no longer be used in production, and are likely to be disabled for use in
the next major Oracle Linux 8 release.
