Oracle Solaris 11.4.87 Release

The Solaris ELF implementation has been updated to support ZStandard (ZSTD) compression for non-allocable sections.

• The ld -z compress-sections option accepts zstd to specify ZSTD compression. See ld(1).

• The -t option to the elfcompress utility accepts zstd to specify ZSTD compression. See elfcompress(1).

• The type argument to the elf_compress() function in libelf can be set to ELF_COMPRESS_ZSTD to specify ZSTD compression. See elfcompress(3elf).
