Set a Session Duration for Client Browsers

As of firmware version 5.0.0, Oracle ILOM provides a Session Duration property that controls the amount of time a client browser is allowed to keep the session cookie. The default Session Duration is 24 hours. The maximum Session Duration is 240 hours (in any combination of hours and minutes).

Before You Begin

  • Admin (a) role is required to modify the web server properties

  1. In the Oracle ILOM web interface, click ILOM Administration -> Management Access -> Web Server.
  2. In the Web Server page, perform the following:
    1. Navigate to the Session Duration property.
    2. Specify the Session Duration in any combination of hours and minutes.
    3. Click Save to apply the changes.
