Configure SSO

This section provides steps for configuring SSO for E-Business Suite applications and Azure AD.

Before You Begin

Before you begin to set up SSO between Azure AD and Oracle Identity Cloud Service, prepare the following:

  • Make sure that an Oracle Identity Cloud Service tenancy is available.
  • You should have access to Microsoft Azure and have privileges to install and configure applications.
  • You should have Oracle E-Business Suite application with a Sys account privileges.
  • You need to configure E-Business Suite to use Oracle Identity Cloud Service for SSO. Follow the steps in Learn About the Identity Cloud Service E-Business Suite Asserter.

Integrate Oracle Identity Cloud Service and E-Business Suite by Using E-Business Suite Asserter

You must configure E-Business Suite Asserter as the single sign-on provider for Oracle E-Business Suite.

  1. Download the E-Business Suite Asserter from the Oracle Identity Cloud Service console.
    1. In the Oracle Identity Cloud Service console, expand the Navigation Drawer, click Settings, and then click Downloads.
    2. Click the Identity Cloud Service E-Business Suite Asserter download button. Save the .zip file to a temporary folder on your local machine and extract.
  2. Deploy E-Business Suite Asserter on an Oracle WebLogic server.
You can install a WebLogic server from scratch. You also have the option of using the Azure Marketplace Oracle WebLogic Server 12.1.2 option and install and use JDK 1.8 during domain configuration. If you create a VM to install a WebLogic server, the OS of the VM should be compatible as described in the Fusion Middleware Certification Matrix that applies to your version.
  3. Make sure you have configured E-Business Suite to use Oracle Identity Cloud Service for SSO. You can find more details in the Before you Begin topic. You can scale the architecture for high availability (HA) by having multiple E-Business Suite Asserter deployments with a load balancer on the front end. For failover support, follow the application failover guidelines in Azure.
