Remove a Drive from the Media Validation Pool

Drives remain dedicated for media validation until you explicitly remove them from the media validation pool.

1. From the Library page or Drives table, right-click a media validation drive.
2. Select Stop Using for Media Validation to remove the drive from the pool.
3. The library must go offline to perform this action. Use the checkbox to select whether or not to automatically bring the library back online. Click OK.
   The library will go offline, enable the drive data ports, and remove the drive from the media validation pool.
4. If using a partitioned library, assign the drive to a partition.
