Editing a Filesystem, LUN, or Object Store (CLI)

To modify properties for an individual Filesystem, LUN, or Object Store, use these steps.

Select the Filesystem, LUN, or Object Store that you want to change.
1. Go to shares.
2. Select the project.
  
  If the project that is selected is not the one you want, use the select project-name command to select a different project.
3. Select the Filesystem, LUN, or Object Store.
  
  Enter select filesystem-name, select lun-name or select objectstore-name.
Use the get command to list the properties of the share.
Use the set command to modify the Filesystem, LUN, or Object Store properties.

Share properties are described in Filesystem Properties, LUN Properties and unresolvable-reference.html.

If file retention is set, review section File Retention Management. Retained files cannot be modified, even after their expiration. However, with the proper user role authorization, you can edit the file retention periods.
