Set up the database server
- Install Oracle Database 12.1.0.2 on the CRF Submit database server.
- Create a multitenant container database (CDB) and a pluggable database (PDB) in it.
The CRF Submit installer creates the CRF Submit database schema and tablespaces in the PDB during the Server Manager installation.
- Set up Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) for the database and make sure the software keystore (wallet) is open.
