Viewing a drug profile configuration

1.         Click Settings.

The Settings page appears.

2.         From the Configure System section, click Manage Drug Profile Configurations.

The Manage Drug Profile Configurations page appears

3.         Click the row menu (Row menu) for a configuration, and then click View.

The Drug Profile Configuration Description dialog box appears and provides the following information. Many of these fields are specified separately based on Drug Subtype (Generic Name, Ingredient Name, Trade Name) as defined in the data configuration variables:

Field

Description

Drug Profile Configuration Name

Name of the drug profile configuration.

ID

Automatically assigned identifier of the drug profile configuration.

Description

Description of the drug profile configuration.

Signal Configuration

Name and ID of the signal configuration (if any) associated with the drug profile configuration. When the drug profile configuration and the specified signal configuration are both in use by a user and that user has a drug layout set as a user preference, then drug names on the Drug Overviews page (on the Signals tab) are links that go to the Drugs tab.

Note: Regardless of the drug type on the Drug Overviews page, the drug is considered by the Drugs tab to be a generic name. Thus, only the generic name settings in the drug profile configuration are used.

Report Output ID

Name and ID of (or alias for) an all cases summary report, which is a specific type of interactive report.

MGPS 2D ID

Name and ID of (or alias for) a completed two-dimensional MGPS data mining run for which charts can be added on the Drugs tab.

This can also be a run that uses cumulative subsetting. In this case, only the subset that is the accumulation of all the other subsets is used.

MGPS 2D by Year ID

Name and ID of (or alias for) a completed two-dimensional MGPS data mining run that uses cumulative subsetting by year, for which charts can be added on the Drugs tab.

MGPS 3D ID

Name and ID of (or alias for) a completed three-dimensional MGPS data mining run for which charts can be added on the Drugs tab. Subsetted three-dimensional runs are not available to select.

LR 2D ID

Name and ID of (or alias for) a completed logistic regression data mining run for which charts can be added on the Drugs tab.

The set of drugs included in logistic regression results is typically smaller than the set of drugs in MGPS results. On the Drugs tab, graphs for logistic regression results are available only if the selected drug was included in the model or added explicitly during creation of the run.

4.         When you are done viewing the drug profile configuration, click OK.
