5.22.1 Introduction

The A_ObservationIntolerance (universal) CMET documents a patient's intolerance and reaction to an allergen. It is represented as a manifestation of an iIntolerance to a known allergen. It includes information about the staff who documented and verified the intolerance, and the informant, either the patient or another responsible person. This data is modeled separately from the Patient Encounter so that it can be sent separately.

This model is a replica of the Intolerance Observation Event RMIM except that the subject participation to the patient is optional.
