Release 7.1.1

E80777-02

April 2017

This document provides instructions to deploy the Oracle Healthcare Foundation (OHF) sample dashboards catalog file in the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) server.

  1. Download the OHF Samples file OHFSSA 7.1.1 Samples.zip from My Oracle Support (MOS) (https://support.oracle.com/) under the patch 24929753.

  2. Copy the file to a preferred drive on a Windows machine and extract the contents.

The following is the structure of the OHFSSA Samples package:

    /catalog

    OHFSSA Sample Images.catalog OHFSSA Sample.catalog

    /data

    ohf_dims_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_001_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_002_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_003_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_004_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_005_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_006_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_007_insert.sql

    ohf_facts_008_insert.sql

    ohf_helper_dims_insert.sql

    ohf_master_insert.sql

  3. Open Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.2.0 Analytics Page.

    For example, http://<obiee host name>:<port number>/analytics.

  4. Navigate to the Catalog menu, and under Shared Folders, click Unarchive.

  5. Specify the path of the OHFSSA Sample Catalog file and click OK.

    /catalog/ OHFSSA Sample.catalog

  6. Specify the path of the OHFSSA Sample Images Catalog file and click OK.

    /catalog/ OHFSSA Sample Images.catalog

The OHF catalog is now deployed in the OBIEE shared folders location as OHFSSA Sample.

  7. To insert sample data into the Healthcare Data Mart (HCD), connect to the HCD schema through SQLPlus or SQLDeveloper.

  8. Execute the script ohf_master_insert.sql under /data/ ohf_master_insert.sql. This inserts data into all HCD schema dimensions and facts used by the OHFSSA Sample Reports.

The OHFSSA sample data is now installed.

You can access the sample reports and dashboards from the OBIEE Analytics page (http://<obiee host name>:<port number>/analytics) under OHFSSA Sample.
