Work with Dashboards

A dashboard is a data visualization tool that gathers critical metrics from the database and provides an insight into the performance of the database. The metrics are displayed in easy-to-interpret widgets in the dashboard and help identify outliers and take corrective action.

Before you use dashboards in Database Management, you must have the required Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring service and Management Dashboard permissions. For information on these additional permissions, see Additional Permissions Required to Use Database Management.

To access dashboards in Database Management:

  1. Sign in to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
  2. Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management. Under Database Management, click Dashboards.

On the Dashboards page, you can use the Oracle-defined dashboards for Database Management or create custom dashboards that meet your specific requirements.
