Interface InputDeviceListener

public interface InputDeviceListener

The InputDeviceListener interface defines a method that is called in response to InputDevice events. Examples of InputDevice events include the addition or removal of new InputDevices and changes to the hardware state or assignation status of an existing InputDevice. A InputDeviceListener may be added using the static KeyManager.addInputDeviceListener method. It will then be notified about changes to all InputDevices.

hardwareStateChanged

void hardwareStateChanged(InputDevice id,
                        boolean newState)

This method is called when the state of a InputDevice's hardware changes. In cases where the InputDevice get unassigned or re-assigned to the underlying hardware, the method is called with false or true argument for the newState parameter, respectively.

Parameters:

id - the InputDevice

newState - false if the InputDevice has been unassigned, true if it has been re-assigned.

inputDeviceAdded

void inputDeviceAdded(InputDevice id)

This method is called when a new InputDevice is added to the embedded device.

Parameters:

id - the InputDevice that has been added to the device

inputDeviceRemoved

void inputDeviceRemoved(InputDevice id)

This method is called when an InputDevice has been removed from the embedded device.

id - the InputDevice that has been removed from the device
