public class CheckboxTree

extends javax.swing.JTree

A Tree that contains nodes that can be checked, unchecked, or partial checked. The state is represented by a standard checkbox rendered next to the usual icon and label in the tree node. The tree is build from TriStateNodes. If a node is marked as checked, all it's child noeds are also marked as checked. If a node is marked as unchecked, all it's child noeds are also marked as unchecked. The partial check state indicates that the node has children some of which are checked and some of which are unchecked The tree stores state with it's nodes, i.e. it's not computed when rendering, which is an advantage with large tree models. Therefore the nodes must have their state correctly set when the tree is first made visible.
