Interface EmbeddedServerExtension

public interface EmbeddedServerExtension

This interface defines an extension mechanism for JDeveloper's embedded server. There are two ways to provide an extension to the embedded server:

• a runnable Node implements EmbeddedServerExtension
• a separate class implements EmbeddedServerExtension and is associated with a Node type by calling EmbeddedServerAdmin.register(EmbeddedServerExtension,Class)

If multiple extensions match for a given Node, the invocation order is:

1. the Node itself, if it implements EmbeddedServerExtension
2. any other extensions in registration order

The only method in this interface is one that creates an instance of EmbeddedServerCallback. All the behavioral changes for the embedded server are to be implemented in the callback class.

Returns:

A new instance of EmbeddedServerCallback that is configured to work with the specified EmbeddedServerAdmin instance. The specified EmbeddedServerAdmin parameter will always be non-null.
