Oracle ADF Desktop Integration 12c (12.2.1) includes the following new and changed development features for this document.

New property, DisplayUploadOptions

New groups (Workbook and Worksheet) to appear in the runtime ribbon tab that you can add to an integrated Excel workbook. These new groups replace the previous groups of Connection, Worksheet, Clear, and About. For more information, see Configuring the Runtime Ribbon Tab.
New property, Image

Added a new section, ADF Desktop Integration Compatibility Properties, to describe the ADF Desktop Integration compatibility properties. The compatibility properties ensure that workbooks created with ADF Desktop Integration versions that did not include a given feature do not change their behavior.
