public final class OTNAuthPanel
extends javax.swing.JPanel

A panel used to prompt for an Oracle Web Account username and password.

You can configure the hint text of the panel. By default, the panel includes generic hint text instructing the user to sign in using their Oracle Web Account user name and password.

You can specify URLs to use for sign up and retrieving lost passwords. Hyperlinks are available in the panel that open these URLs in the user's configured browser. Both URLs are the standard www.oracle.com pages for these actions by default.

Use runDialog(Component,String) to display the panel in a dialog. This method will block until the user dismisses the dialog. The method returns a PasswordAuthentication instance containing the user name and password if provided. If the user did not click OK, null is returned. The dialog includes validation so that the OK button is only enabled when both the user name and password fields are not empty.

the user name and password, or null if the user canceled.
