Welcome to Administering Oracle WebCenter Portal!

This guide describes how to administer Oracle WebCenter Portal, including how to start, stop, and configure WebCenter Portal components, configure back-end servers and security, monitor performance, and also how to back up, recover, and migrate portal deployments and services.

Audience

This document is intended for system administrators responsible for Oracle WebCenter Portal installations. For a complete description of these roles, and other WebCenter Portal personas, refer to Who's Who.

This guide assumes that the audience is familiar with the concepts and content described in Administering Oracle Fusion Middleware.

italic	Italic type indicates book titles, emphasis, or placeholder variables for which you supply particular values.
monospace	Monospace type indicates commands within a paragraph, URLs, code in examples, text that appears on the screen, or text that you enter.
