public class ToggleMenuItem
extends javax.swing.JCheckBoxMenuItem

The ToggleMenuItem class is a subclass of JCheckBoxMenuItem that has been extended to respond to additional PropertyChangeEvent notifications for state changes from the ToggleAction from which it was constructed. Additionally, the icon handling of the class has been tuned for improved performance upon construction, delaying the fetching of any icon associated with the ToggleAction until it is required.
