Other Significant Changes in this Book for Release 12c (12.1.2)

For 12c (12.1.2), this guide has been updated in several ways. Following are the sections that have been added or changed.

• In this release, the Security and Administrator's Guide for Web Services delivered in Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, has been split up into the following documents:

  • Understanding Oracle Web Services Manager

  • Securing Web Services and Managing Policies with Oracle Web Services Manager

  • Administering Web Services (this document)

• Summary of Web service and OWSM audit events has been added. For more information, see Web Service Audit Events Reference.

• Summary of the Web service and OWSM events that can be audited using the Oracle Fusion Middleware Audit Framework have been moved into this guide, from Securing Applications with Oracle Platform Security Services. For more information, see Web Service Audit Events Reference.
