You can delete data sources when you need to free up space on your system.
Deleting permanently removes the external source and any projects that use this data source will break.
You can only delete external sources. You cannot delete subject areas that you have included in projects or analyses. Deleting data differs from removing data, as described in Removing Data that You Added.
- In the Data Sources pane in Visual Analyzer or the Subject Areas pane of Oracle Business Intelligence, right-click the data that you want to remove.
- Select Delete to erase the data from storage and delete the data source.
