Generative AI in Data Discovery

In Data Discovery, you can now use Generative AI to summarize, render, and format the output of the Notes and trace files. When you use this option, an HTML dashboard is generated for the results as the cell attachment, including a single-run trace in table format, a multi-run trace in expandable list format, and Notes in a list format.

Business Benefit: Using Generative AI to summarize and transform Data Discovery notes, traces, and calculation paths into one HTML file enables you to review and analyze data details and take appropriate action more quickly.

Steps to enable and configure

To use this feature, you must first enable Generative AI for your environment. To enable Generative AI:

  1. From the Home page, click Application, then click Settings.
  2. Under Enable AI, select the checkbox to enable Generative AI, then slick Save.
