Overview – Internationalizing and Localizing Applications in Oracle Solaris describes the internationalization interfaces and related tools available in the Oracle Solaris 11.2 release.
Audience – This manual is intended for programmers who want to create internationalized or localized applications for use with Oracle Solaris 11, with an emphasis on C programming language interfaces.
Required knowledge – This manual assumes basic competence in programming and familiarity with the C programming language and the UNIX operating system. This manual also assumes basic knowledge of the internationalization and localization concepts. This manual assumes that you have the following documentation available for reference:
