Selecting Languages for Category Translation


You can choose the languages for which to translate category information. This is done under the Category Translations tab.

To choose a language for translation

  1. Select a category.
  2. Click the Category Translations tab.

    Languages for translation appear.

  3. Add a new record to the Category Translations list.
  4. Click the icon in the Code field.

    The Language Name dialog box appears.

  5. Select a language, and then click OK.

    The language name and code appear in the Category Translations list.

  6. Fill in the remaining fields, as shown in the following table.
    Field
    Description

    Display Name

    Name in the new language that the Web site visitor sees.

    Description

    Brief description of the category in the new language.

    Extended Description

    More detailed description of the category in the new language.
