Each Oracle BI Disconnected Analytics application contains several components such as a repository and catalog that are slightly different from their counterparts on the Oracle BI Server. Because Oracle BI Disconnected Analytics provides only local platform functionality and a few utilities, you as the Oracle BI Administrator must prepare each disconnected application by building a disconnected database, a customized disconnected repository, a local Oracle BI Presentation Catalog, sourcing queries to download data, and DDL (data definition language) files.
