Process of Configuring Analytics Action Links

Siebel Analytics supports Action Links from a Siebel Analytics report to the relevant record in the Siebel operational application.

NOTE:  For this feature to work, the Web Server component of Siebel Analytics should be running on the same physical machine as the Siebel Web Server Extension (SWSE).

• If you plan to run the Siebel Web Engine (SWE) and Analytics Web on different Web servers, with the Web servers running on different machines, you must use Resonate Dispatch Manager (a load balancing server) to create a single logical domain with the two machines, and assign SWE and Analytics Web to different ports. This section describes the steps necessary to do this.
