Supported Business Components
Description

Account

Holds account related information. This business component is used to manage account details.

NOTE:  Account stores information related to any external organization with which the company does business.

Action

Holds activity information, such as, activity type, due date, completion date, owner, account priority, and description. This information is used to track the activities carried out for an account, contact, or opportunity.

NOTE:  Action also stores information related to tasks or events.

Address

Holds address related information for an entity, such as, city and country.

Business Address

Holds business address related information for a contact, such as, city and country.

Contact (All)

This is similar to the Contact business component, except that it pushes contacts to the device which are marked as Personal and owned by the user.

Contact (Personal)

Holds contact related information for personal contacts. This business component is used to maintain personal contact information.

NOTE:  Contact (Personal) are the contacts that the user does not wish to share with others.

Contact

Holding contact related information (such as, first name, last name, title, phone, and fax details), this business component is used to add and modify contacts. This business component does not push contacts to the device which are marked as Personal.

NOTE:  Contacts are individuals with whom a pharmaceutical company currently does business or with whom it expects to do business in the future. A typical contact is a physician, nurse, pharmacist, or any other medical professional.

Employee

Holds employee related information, such as, user ID, first name, last name, and organization.

NOTE:  Employees are company users (members) who have access to company data.

Employee (MM)

Holds information that allows many employees to be tied to an activity or task.

Expense

Holds expense related information, such as, name, submitted to, pay to, and period for which the expense has been submitted.

Expense Item

Holds details about the individual expense items that are being reported in an expense report. The details include date on which the expense was incurred, amount, type of expense, and reimbursable flag.

Product

Holds product related information, such as, product name, type, organization, and product line.

NOTE:  Product stores information about the company's products, promotional items, and competitive products.

Opportunity

Holds opportunity related information, such as, accounts associated, sales team members, close date, and opportunity objectives.

NOTE:  Opportunity is any potential revenue generating event.

Opportunity Product

Holds product related information for an opportunity, such as, opportunity name, ID, product name, and product line.

Order Entry - Line Items

Holds product order information, such as, product name, part number, quantity, start price, and net price.

NOTE:  An Order Entry-Line Item is a product or service that is added to an order.

Order Entry - Orders

Holds order related information, such as, order number, status, and account.

Price List

Holds price related information, such as, product name, product line, part number, and purchase price.

NOTE:  A price list contains price data for a specific product.

Quote

Holds quote related information, such as, effective dates, price lists, and discounts on products and services.

NOTE:  Quotes are relied upon for details, before making a formal offer to the client.

Quote Item

Holds quote item related information, such as, product name, part number, quantity, start price, and net price.

NOTE:  An Quote Item is a product or service that is added to an quote.
