Generally if, for whatever reason, synchronization is terminated, the user is prompted with a message and the synchronization process ends. In this situation the synchronization session is allowed to close. However, if the connection with the server is unintentionally broken, the session might not have a chance to close before the connection is broken. Therefore, if the user tries to immediately synchronize again, they might get an error message and be unable to synchronize. If this occurs, the user must wait for a period of time (generally, 15 minutes) to allow the session to time out and terminate. Once the session terminates, the user can synchronize again.
