Troubleshooting an Initialization or Synchronization That Requires too Much Time to Complete


This topic describes guidelines for resolving problems if it takes a long time to initialize or synchronize. To resolve the problem, look for it in the Symptom column in Table 29.

you receive the CSSSISDockFgetACKMsg msg error during initialization or synchronization.

You are working in a network environment and the error might occur due to very heavy network traffic.

Work with your IT department to troubleshoot the problem.

You are working over a telephone line and the error might occur due to an unstable telephone line.

Do the following:

  • Try a different telephone line.
  • Replace the modems on the remote client or the Siebel Server.
  • Work with your IT department to troubleshoot the problem.
