NOTE: Alternatively, you can use the Siebel Server Configuration Wizard to configure an additional Siebel Server on a single computer where the Siebel Server is already installed and configured. Creating multiple Siebel Server configurations for a single installed Siebel Server instance is typically done for test or development purposes only. In your production environment, it is strongly recommended that you configure only one Siebel Server for each server computer. Where Siebel Remote is to be deployed, do not create multiple Siebel Server configurations for a single installed Siebel Server instance.
After configuring a new Siebel Server, you must perform corresponding SWSE configuration tasks to make the applications on this Siebel Server available on the Siebel Web server. You might have to re-create the SWSE logical profile and then reapply the logical profile on the SWSE. In some cases, you might choose to manually edit the eapps.cfg file and manually create new virtual directories on the Web server. As part of this overall process, you might also regenerate the lbconfig.txt file, which is used for load balancing.
