After the Siebel Web Client installation completes, the file predeploy.htm is loaded in a browser window. This file downloads the ActiveX controls that are used by the Siebel Mobile Web Client when it is deployed using high interactivity. Downloading the ActiveX controls to the client computer so that they can be used by the Siebel Web Client is referred to as predeploying these controls. The predeploy.htm file is located in the directory

NOTE: You can deploy Siebel Business Applications using Siebel Open UI, which is an alternative to the high-interactivity client for employee applications, such as Siebel Call Center. For more information, see Enabling Siebel Open UI.
