The toolbar is positioned just below the menu. The icons in the toolbar are arranged to support the work-flow required to the perform tasks associated with the object selected in a view.
The menu and toolbar are used together to perform specific actions. Depending on the operation, the options in the Actions menu and the buttons in Toolbar change. For example, if you select an Oracle VM Server, the toolbar icons to manage Oracle VM Servers are displayed, as shown in figure Figure 3.6, “Toolbar Icons for Managing an Oracle VM Server”.
In this case, you click the buttons in the toolbar to:
Create a new virtual machine
Edit the selected Oracle VM Server
Rediscover the selected Oracle VM Server
Start the selected Oracle VM Server
Stop the selected Oracle VM Server
Restart the selected Oracle VM Server
Kill (power off) the selected Oracle VM Server
Rescan the physical disks on the Oracle VM Server
Update the Oracle VM Server using the configured YUM server
Search for Oracle VM Servers, server pools, virtual machines and so on
Display the online help
