You can download firmware and software updates from the My Oracle Support web site. Previously, if your processes did not allow downloads from Oracle web sites, you could submit to Oracle a physical media request (PMR) to receive the latest software release packages. The preferred method for submitting a PMR was through the My Oracle Support web site. However, Oracle no longer provides free physical media for firmware and software updates. In addition, physical media packs for software applications or operating systems are no longer provided for delivery. You can use the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud for application and OS downloads.
