Package manifests represent the complete content of the package.
If you remove a file or other action from a package manifest, that action is removed from the image when the package is updated by using the pkg command.
If you rename a file or other action in a package manifest, the new action is installed in the image and the old action is removed from the image when the package is updated by using the pkg command. Review Avoiding Conflicting Package Content before you rename actions.
