This chapter is intended for users who want to install Oracle VM Manager. Oracle VM Manager is installed on a pre-configured Linux operating system, and is comprised of a variety of different components.
Installation of Oracle VM Manager includes the installation of Java, Oracle WebLogic Server, MySQL v5.6 and the Oracle VM Manager application itself.
An uninstaller is included with the installation script. The uninstaller gives you options to remove MySQL, Java, the Oracle VM Manager application, and the Oracle WebLogic Server.
Note
Oracle VM Manager Release 3.3 does not support the use of an alternate database back end.
