6.35 Use the Hide Message and Log Message Tools To Hide Sensitive Information When Sending VM Messages

When using the Send VM Messages facility in the Oracle VM Manager Web Interface, you should disable the Log Message check box and enable the Hide Message check box if you are sending a message with a key-value pair that contains sensitive data, such as root credentials for the virtual machine. This facility has been provided to help protect your sensitive data when using these tools.

If you are using the Oracle VM Manager Command Line Interface you should use the "log=no" parameter when sending a message that contains sensitive data so that this data is not stored anywhere.
