Record SP Network Properties

During this firmware upgrade process, the SP network configuration information will be reset to factory defaults. You must note your current SP network properties before continuing with the firmware upgrade.

You will need this information later to restore SP network connection.

  1. Display the current SP network configuration information. Type:
    -> show /SP/network ipaddress ipgateway ipnetmask ipdiscovery
    
      /SP/network
        Properties:
            ipaddress = XX.XX.XX.XX
            ipgateway = YY.YY.YY.YY
            ipnetmask = ZZ.ZZ.ZZ.ZZ
            ipdiscovery = static
    
    ->
  2. If your SP uses a static connection (i.e., if the ipdiscovery value is static), note the current network configuration properties.

    Note -  If your SP uses a DHCP connection, the network configuration will be restored automatically.
  3. Back up the current SP configuration.
